Magnolia

Medicinal magnolia, a species found in the mountains and valleys of China, contains two potent anti-inflammatory substances in its bark: manolol and honokiol. These substances work synergistically to inhibit the activation of NF-KB, a key mediator in both inflammatory processes and aging. Magnolia has a robust antioxidant effect that can shield the skin from chronic inflammation, neutralize internal aging factors and reduce redness.
