Vinegar

An acidic liquid derived from the fermentation of wine ethanol into ethanoic acid. It is a key ingredient in Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine. Its acidic pH is effective against lice and nits, preventing their attachment to hair shafts or facilitating the removal of already attached ones.
